UK – The Classroom Partnership buys Concord Education

20 January 2020

UK-based specialist education recruitment company announced that it has acquired Concord Education.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Concord Education, based in the UK, is a privately owned independent recruitment company dedicated to the sourcing and provision of specialist staff for schools, academies and support centres. The company specialises in re-locating candidates for temporary to permanent and direct employment.

As a result of the acquisition, Concord will join The Classroom Partnership's portfolio and will be absorbed into recruitment provider, Connex Education Partnership.

Concord Education's director, Nick Barton, will now oversee Connex Education’s national permanent recruitment solutions.

“This acquisition is a major step forward for The Classroom Partnership group in continuing to adapt to the ever-changing face of school’s recruitment,” The Classroom Partnership’s CEO, Paul Broderick, said. “Incorporating a leading permanent education staffing brand into one of the UK’s largest supply staffing brands seemed an obvious move for us and brings together the best in day-to-day and long-term supply and expert permanent solutions."

The Classroom Partnership is backed by Chester based Bluestones Investment Group, which has provided acquisition funding for other education brands.
