The Big Horn boys had a tremendous athletic season with state championships in football and track. The Rams took 4th at the basketball state tournament and began tournament play with a big 73-38 win over their neighbor Tongue River. Kade Van Dyken who is a superb all-around athlete had 20 points in that game. Quinn McCafferty chipped in 16. So Big Horn earned a shot at Wyoming Indian in the 2A semi-finals but came out on the losing end 54-45. VanDyken had 18 but the Rams were just 6-17 from the free throw line. Big Horn did lose to Rocky Mountain in the 3rd place game 61-54 as VanDyken led the way once again with 20 points. The Rams finished the season with a record of 19-8 with 2 all-state selections; Kade VanDyken who averaged 17 points a game and Kade Eisele who threw in 10 a game. Those 2 are among 5 seniors that will need to be replaced and that won't be easy to find that kind of production.
