Pine Bluffs’ Michael Shain Headed to Dickinson St.

Michael Shain from Pine Bluffs signed with NAIA Dickinson State to further his basketball career. Shain's creativity and feel for the game made him stand out at the 2A level or any level of Wyoming high school basketball for that matter.

This past season, he averaged a whopping 21 points per game to guide his Hornet team to an 18-9 record. In his career at Pine Bluffs, Shain threw in 17 points a game and was a back to back all-state selection.

Shain also competed in track and field in his junior year taking 5th at the 2A State Meet in the 3200-meter run and also ran on the 4x800 meter relay team that took 7th back in 2019.
