It was the old fashioned Energy Bowl on Friday in Class 4A as Campbell County in Gillette played host to Sheridan. Now Sheridan’s defense certainly did a number in this game holding the Camels to a single touchdown, which was a one-yard run by Vijay Pitter in the 2nd quarter.  The Sheridan offense had it going too as Garrett Coon had a 4 yard run for a score in the first quarter and a 1 yard run for a TD in the 2nd quarter. Sandwiched in between that, was 43-yard touchdown connection from Jacob Boint to Lowden Askins, so the Broncs led 21-7 at halftime.

Sheridan got serious in the 3rd quarter with 21 points, Boint threw his 2nd touchdown pass of the game, this time going to Wade Jacobs on a play that covered 52 yards, That was followed by Boint’s 3rd TD pass of the game going to Garrett Coon, That one went for 45 yards, After that, Boint with TD pass number 4, going to Brock Steel that covered 10 yards.

Sheridan flexed their muscles yet again with a 41-7 win over Gillette to improve to 6-1 on the year. The Broncs have a road game this week against Laramie. The Camels drop to 1-6 on the season and will host 1-6 Cheyenne South on Friday.
