The Pine Bluffs Hornets ran away with the team title at the 2A Girls East Regional track meet on Saturday with 181 points. Southeast placed 2nd with 91 and Glenrock was 3rd with 87. Southeast freshman Jordan Stoddard continued her fantastic season with victories in the 200 and 400 meter dashes. Her winning time in the 200 was 26.28 and a clocking of 1.01.26 in the 400. Annelise Clark of Glenrock took the 100 in 13.04. Defending state champion in the 800 and the 1600, Hailey Jones of Moorcroft won both of those events at the regional meet in Sheridan. She ran 2.21.14 in the 800 and 5.30.26 in the 1600, Jordan Jones of Moorcroft was the winner in the 3200 in 12.41.39. In the hurdle races, Wrights Jozi Edwards took the tape in the 100 in 16.68. Annelise Clark of Glenrock ran 48.78 to win the 300. There were 4 different team winners in the relays with Pine Bluffs taking the 4x100, Southeast won the 4x400, Glenrock the 4x800 and Moorcroft the 1600 medley. Jordan Stoddard of Southeast continued her winning ways in the field events with 1st place finish in the high jump at 5-6. Jourdaine Cerensil from Pine Bluffs win the long jump with a leap of 16-2.25 as the Hornets went 1-2-3 in that event. Pine Bluffs also went 1-2-3 in the pole vault with Maddie Fornstrum clearing 10 feet even for the win. The triple jump winner was Taylor Gaukel of Lusk, going 33-4. In the weight events, Morgan Ekwall of Southeast threw 39-10.5 to win the shot put while Riley Langston of Wright won the discus at 116-5.
