Maharashtra: COVID-19 total increases by 5,134 to 2,17,121. There were 224 deaths in the last 24 hours. Death count at 9,250 now. 

Mumbai: Shops in the capital city to be allowed to open till 7 PM from July 9. Earlier the timing was 9 AM - 5PM.

Delhi: The national capital witnesses 2,008 new COVID-19 cases and 50 deaths in the past 24 hours. The total rises to 1,02,831, out of which, 25,449 are still active. Death count stands at 3,165.

Karnataka: 1,498 new cases and 15 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. The total number of cases jumped to 26,815 including 11,098 recoveries and 416 deaths.

Jammu and Kashmir: Gardens and parks to reopen from July 8. Sanitisers and thermal scanners to be installed at entry points. (Read more here)

West Bengal: Strict lockdown in containment zones and also buffer zones across the state from July 9, 2020. All private and government offices in containment zones and buffer zones will also remain shut.
Only essential services will be made available in these zones. Also, transport services will remain suspended. Relaxations will be given only in green zones.
 

Mizoram: The total number of confirmed cases in the state stands at 197 including 58 active cases and 139 cured/discharged.

Uttar Pradesh: In the last 24 hours, 1,346 new cases have been reported. Active cases in the state stand at 9,514. A total of 19,627 have been discharged while the death count stands at 827,

Odisha: COVID-19 tally crosses 10,000-mark with 571 fresh cases in the state, toll rises to 42 as four more dies. 

Arunachal Pradesh: Second COVID-19 fatality as a 40-year-old man died at the Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences at Naharlagun, a senior health official said on Tuesday.
 

India COVID-19 data: Coronavirus cases in India rise to 7,19,665 which includes 2,59,557 active cases, 4,39,947 recovered/migrated cases and 20,160 deaths as per the Ministry of Health data at 9.30 am on Tuesday. 467 deaths and 22,252 new cases were reported in the last 24 hours.
 

West Bengal: COVID-19 death toll in the state rises to 779 with 22 more fatalities; 861 new cases reported.

Maharashtra: Mumbai reports 1,201 new COVID-19 cases and 39 deaths, taking case count to 85,326 and fatalities to 4,935.
